Why marketing will define tomorrow’s reward leaders

XPS Pensions Group has received menopause friendly accreditation for its work in supporting employees following an assessment by an independent panel.

The pension consulting and administration firm, which employs 1,600 people at 16 UK sites, was recognised for its efforts in six main areas: policies and practices, facilities, training, culture, engagement and evaluation.

According to the panel, XPS had demonstrated its commitment to being menopause friendly and ensuring all employees felt both included and enabled. It had also worked hard to normalise conversations about the menopause and had effectively set up support groups, as well as rolled out training for all line managers.

Ben Bramhall, co-CEO at XPS Pensions Group, said: “We are delighted to have achieved accreditation as a menopause friendly employer. Inclusion is a key priority for XPS and our commitment to supporting employees experiencing menopause symptoms is one example of the steps we’re taking to ensure everyone at XPS feels included and enabled.”

Established in 2021, the menopause friendly accreditation was developed by Henpicked: Menopause in the Workplace in recognition of high standards and proven practices implemented by employers to embrace menopause at work.

Deborah Garlick, founder of Henpicked: Menopause in the Workplace, added: “I would like to congratulate XPS and particularly welcome their focus on normalising the conversation as we know the best outcomes start with an open discussion. XPS has also shown that by treating people with empathy, listening to their needs and putting action plans in place around this makes such a huge difference to making an organisation truly menopause friendly.”
