HR tech platform Employment Hero has launched a major upgrade to its integration with Indeed as part of efforts to give employers enhanced hiring tools.
The upgrade includes free job adverts, one-click applications, and integrated screening questions to speed up shortlisting and make recruitment more efficient.
The platform provider said the move is designed to help small and medium-sized businesses compete more effectively for talent. This is particularly important as employers face rising recruitment costs and intensified competition.
Indeed’s features have been directly embedded into the platform to enable HR and payroll teams to manage recruitment, onboarding and payroll in one system.
This latest update expands on existing integrations with LinkedIn and Seek.
Employment Hero said the goal is to give customers flexibility to hire “from the sources that matter most to them”, while simplifying recruitment workflows and supporting business growth.
Co-founder and CEO Ben Thompson said the upgrade is part of the provider’s mission to empower small businesses.
“When Dave Tong and I founded Employment Hero more than a decade ago, the goal was to create proud, confident employers who felt well equipped to employ, pay and manage their people. And we wanted to give small businesses a competitive edge.
“Reaching A$300 million in annual recurring revenue, while becoming profitable, reflects the value we are delivering every day to the 350,000 businesses that use our platform,” Thompson said.
“Looking ahead, our focus remains on simplifying employment and giving SMBs the infrastructure to operate at the same level as the world’s largest companies.”
Employment Hero supports 350,000 businesses globally, combining HR, payroll and engagement tools for employers across multiple markets.
Early platform investor Craig Blair, partner and founder at Airtree, said the provider’s growth and profitability “reflects both the strength of its platform and the clarity of Ben Thompson’s vision”.
He added: “The company has scaled to support hundreds of thousands of businesses across multiple markets and continues to expand its role as a leading employment operating system.”
The provider has a growing UK presence led by managing director Kevin Fitzgerald.
He said the expanded platform integration marks a key step in its mission to help employers “hire smarter, faster, and more cost-effectively”, while maintaining compliance and employee engagement in one unified platform.
