Female tech leaders have championed advances in women’s health benefits ahead of International Women’s Day on 8 March, 2025.

At an event hosted by health and wellbeing provider Wellhub, leaders from pioneering women’s health tech firms, Clue, Peanut, Baby2Body, and MBody, agreed that women’s health at work should never be an after thought.

Wellhub also announced that the four health support brands were joining its platform.

“AI-driven personalisation is transforming how we deliver women’s health support,” said Melinda Nicci, founder and CEO, Body Collective Group, founder of Baby2Body and MBody.

Baby2Body and MBody offer personalised AI-driven support for women. Baby2Body supports women through pregnancy and early motherhood, while MBody helps women with their health across all life stages.

She added: “Our collaboration with Wellhub ensures that employers can offer truly tailored wellness solutions that adapt to each woman’s unique journey, whether through pregnancy, motherhood, or menopause.”

Rhiannon White, CEO of Clue, a female-led menstrual and reproductive health app, told the audience: “Women’s health should never be an afterthought in workplace benefits. By integrating comprehensive cycle and reproductive health support into corporate wellness programs, we’re helping normalise these conversations and ensuring all employees have access to the tools they need to thrive both personally and professionally.”

Social networking app Peanut supports women through fertility, pregnancy, motherhood, and menopause. Michelle Kennedy, founder and CEO, said: “The workplace must evolve to better support women through critical life stages.

“Through our partnership with Wellhub, we’re helping build communities of support that connect women when they need each other most, directly through their employee benefits programs.”

She added: “By integrating these pioneering solutions into our platform, we’re empowering employers to remove barriers and democratise access to critical health resources that support women through every life stage.”

byBenefits Expert from Definite Article Media

As the professionals responsible for helping their organisations navigate NI hikes, rising employee stress levels and looming redundancies, the pressure on HR, reward and benefits teams has never been greater.

HR is expected to lead with strength and compassion. But who is supporting the supporters?

In this episode of Benefits Unboxed, co-hosts Claire Churchard, Carole Goldsmith and Steve Herbert explore the emotional and ethical pressures HR face today, from managing redundancies to implementing complex legislation. They discuss why HR’s own wellbeing may not be the first topic of conversation, the risks that poses to employers, and the practical steps businesses can take to better support the wellbeing of the people who support everyone else.

This conversation shines a light on the resilience of the profession and why looking after HR is not just the right thing to do, but a business imperative.
