Employer support for Govt pension reforms declines

Cigna Healthcare’s Global Health Benefits (GHB) business has expanded its partnership with Carrot Fertility to offer end-to-end support for fertility, family-building and hormonal health to eligible employees and covered partners of GHB Europe clients.

The digital-first service, once limited to clients in the Americas, now offers multilingual, personalised care plans and access to Carrot’s global network of more than 11,000 vetted providers across 170 countries.

It supports a broad range of life-stage needs, including fertility planning, adoption, surrogacy, pregnancy, postpartum care, parenting and hormonal health such as menopause, low testosterone and gender-affirming care.

Carrot’s model provides tailored clinical support, real-time guidance and educational resources, along with translation tools in more than 25 languages and 24/7 live translation in over 300 languages.

Cigna CEO Wendy Sherry says: “In today’s competitive talent landscape, employers are increasingly recognising the importance of comprehensive and inclusive benefits that support employees through every stage of life. A key aspect of this collaboration is our shared commitment with Carrot to educating individuals, helping them understand their options, and empowering them to make informed decisions about their health, especially when navigating the complexities of global care. This includes providing locally relevant care that considers cultural sensitivities.

“Global Health Benefits champions health care that focuses on whole-person health and vitality,” added Sherry. “Empowering individuals to prioritise their well-being, especially during critical life moments, directly correlates to increased levels of vitality and can drive an employer’s tangible business results. By providing robust educational tools and expert guidance, we aim to clarify complex health topics and equip our customers with the confidence to proactively manage their health. Our collaboration with Carrot offers our eligible GHB customers a personalised approach, regardless of where they are in the world, supporting the full spectrum of their health and vitality through every hormonal health journey.”
