“With Bippit, our team can track and analyse their spending better, create saving goals and achieve their targets as well as find ways to save cash in the process. More particularly, our team is matched with an FCA-recognised expert financial coach to help them, as well as having access to a wealth of tools and resources for various financial-related topics, completely free to our employees and their family. Offering confidential support without judgment can really make a difference and it’s important to us that our employees feel supported in this way. Therefore, we believe that a benefit like Bippit can help combat financial stress and enhance financial empowerment for our people.”
The company’s senior people and culture adviser, Catherine Roberts, also highlighted how and why it prioritises employee health and wellbeing.
She explained: “In the past, we have had people purchase holiday vouchers, running trainers, Spotify subscriptions, spa days – some have spent their two days having a duvet day, hiking or going on a breakaway.
“Our team’s wellbeing is so important in stress management because it equips individuals with the physical, emotional, and cognitive tools needed to handle stress effectively. It acts as a preventive measure, a resilience builder, and a source of support, ultimately improving one’s ability to manage and reduce stress in everyday life.”
Sam Lathey, CEO at Bippit, added: “It’s great to see Hedgehog Lab join the growing list of UK organisations choosing to provide empowering solutions that allow employees to take control of their own financial journey. All their team can now access one-to-one sessions with FCA-recognised financial coaches, as well as powerful tools like spending analysis and interactive workshops.”
