Salience has introduced a financial wellbeing platform to support its workforce through the cost-of-living crisis.

The marketing company’s employees now have access to professional coaches and bespoke money management plans, which include goal-tracking, spending analysis and the option to take part in challenges.

Through the partnership with Bippit, the Chester, UK-based agency, which employs 32 people, is also offering its workforce targeted learning resources and interactive workshops covering topics such as budgeting, pensions and protection.

Lucy Jobber, operations director at Salience, said: “I’m thrilled to launch Bippit for our team – a brilliant financial wellness platform that will really help our employees in the face of the current cost-of-living crisis.

“Employee wellbeing has always been a priority, and this year I’ve been looking beyond traditional compensation to invest in new benefits. Financial wellness was a key priority, and I was looking for a solution that would truly resonate with the team, particularly during challenging times.”

According to Jobber, part of the appeal was the provider’s the personalised approach to financial wellbeing and unique coaching feature.

She added: “We knew that having a dedicated, qualified financial coach available to everyone would make the difference.”

Since its launch in 2009, Salience has committed to investing in employee wellbeing, offering perks such as ping pong tables, office dogs, and free-flowing beers, but Jobber wanted to take it a step further.

She explained: “I believe that the agency experience should be more than just clichés. With the shift to hybrid working, we have realigned our priorities to focus on our culture, and general employee wellbeing.

“There are three pillars to our cultural success at Salience: professional and personal development, mental health and wellbeing support, and financial support. I’m constantly seeking ways to empower employees with meaningful benefits, and I believe that these pillars form a perfect trinity to strengthen overall employee happiness.

“Salience already offers a comprehensive structure for professional development, providing clear paths for growth. Additionally, we ensure that all employees have access to mental health support, whether through face-to-face counselling or online therapy.”

Other benefits offered by the business include subsidised personal training sessions, a holiday allowance that increases with years of service, and a parental leave package above industry standard.

“With Bippit in place, Salience now has a comprehensive package encompassing professional, personal, health and financial support.”
