Employees want support to better understand how much to save for retirement

Cushon, the pension and saving app, has rebranded to NatWest Cushon, a year after NatWest Group acquired an 85 percent stake in the fintech business.

NatWest’s investment has enabled the app-based business to develop its technology and products in the past 12 months as it continues to grow.

NatWest Cushon will take on the bank’s tagline ‘Tomorrow begins today’ saying it perfectly reflects its ambition to make pensions easier and more accessible for employees and employers.

The rebrand will not affect the products available to customers or employers. The business also said that the Cushon Master Trust has not been renamed and NatWest Cushon will remain a separate company within the NatWest Group.

Best of both

Ben Pollard, founder and CEO of Cushon, said: “A year since we became part of the NatWest Group, we wanted a new brand to represent the ‘best-of-both’ that customers get from NatWest Cushon.

“[Customers have] the peace-of-mind that [their] money is being looked after by one of the UK’s largest banking groups, plus the tech-led experience and innovation that you would expect from a great British fintech.

“NatWest’s purple-power plus Cushon’s pink-fizz is a winning combination for savers and employers.”
