Three key ways to promote financial peace of mind

Perkbox Vivup and NatWest Mentor have partnered to launch a “high-impact wellbeing” service for SMEs aimed at “addressing a critical gap”.

NatWest Mentor, part of NatWest Group, already offers HR advice and digital tools to SMEs. Now, under its agreement with Perkbox Vivup, Mentor’s business customers will be able to access wellbeing and engagement tools through an annual subscription.

Perkbox Vivup’s platform will be integrated with Mentor’s existing services to provide three tiers of support through its Employee Assistance Programme (EAP). The different tiers offer a range of services such as in-the-moment wellbeing support, online GP appointments, and 24/7 legal support.

Iain Cumby, head of Mentor, said: “We’re delighted to be working with Perkbox Vivup to deliver our new EAP for SMEs. Our relationship with them will allow us to deliver three different levels of EAP service to our customers, providing them with a range of choice and options to meet their needs. We’ve chosen a partner who’ll deliver a level of service that meets the high standards that we expect from the NatWest brand. We’ll work in close partnership to deliver real value for our customers and their employees.”

Louis Kwakye, chief revenue officer at Perkbox Vivup Group, said: “Partnering with NatWest Mentor is a pivotal step in expanding access to high-impact wellbeing solutions for SMEs. Together, we’re addressing a critical gap, making it easier for smaller businesses to support their people in meaningful, measurable ways. With this partnership, we’re not just offering tools; we’re helping to shape a more engaged and resilient SME workforce across the UK.”

Benefits Unboxed – Wellbeing: HR is supporting everyone, but who’s supporting HR?
byBenefits Expert from Definite Article Media

As the professionals responsible for helping their organisations navigate NI hikes, rising employee stress levels and looming redundancies, the pressure on HR, reward and benefits teams has never been greater.

HR is expected to lead with strength and compassion. But who is supporting the supporters?

In this episode of Benefits Unboxed, co-hosts Claire Churchard, Carole Goldsmith and Steve Herbert explore the emotional and ethical pressures HR face today, from managing redundancies to implementing complex legislation. They discuss why HR’s own wellbeing may not be the first topic of conversation, the risks that poses to employers, and the practical steps businesses can take to better support the wellbeing of the people who support everyone else.

This conversation shines a light on the resilience of the profession and why looking after HR is not just the right thing to do, but a business imperative.
