Benenden Health has partnered with Reframe Cancer, a specialist cancer navigation support provider, to give Benenden’s 870,000 members access to specialist services.

Reframe Cancer’s CQC registration enables them to provide clinical excellence, data, evidence and reporting as part of the cancer pathway. This includes patient feedback, which is gathered throughout the cancer journey, to drive better patient outcomes.

Services include clinical guidance, expert advice and advocacy, such as a dedicated cancer nurse, practical support via a cancer support manager to help with chasing appointments, transportation to appointments or return to work planning. The services are supported with online resources that cover cancer awareness and preventative measures.

Mark Stephenson, CEO at Reframe Cancer, said: “This is a huge partnership for Reframe Cancer, and we are absolutely delighted to be chosen as the specialist cancer advice and navigation provider for Benenden Health’s 870,000 members.

“We support Benenden Health’s mission to make private healthcare accessible to all, our ethos, ethics and missions are completely aligned. Cancer doesn’t discriminate and there is an increasing need to help provide patients with an affordable cancer care and navigation solution. Our investment in technology also allows us to be wider reaching, providing a clinically excellent solution that genuinely helps people.”

Anne Chappell-Smith, director of sales and partnerships at Benenden Health, said: “Cancer advice services are essential because they address the holistic wellbeing needs of individuals facing a cancer diagnosis. Advice services have a direct impact on a person’s mental, emotional and social needs, while medical treatment is underway. We are looking forward to seeing the impact this has for our membership, and their families.”

byBenefits Expert from Definite Article Media

As the professionals responsible for helping their organisations navigate NI hikes, rising employee stress levels and looming redundancies, the pressure on HR, reward and benefits teams has never been greater.

HR is expected to lead with strength and compassion. But who is supporting the supporters?

In this episode of Benefits Unboxed, co-hosts Claire Churchard, Carole Goldsmith and Steve Herbert explore the emotional and ethical pressures HR face today, from managing redundancies to implementing complex legislation. They discuss why HR’s own wellbeing may not be the first topic of conversation, the risks that poses to employers, and the practical steps businesses can take to better support the wellbeing of the people who support everyone else.

This conversation shines a light on the resilience of the profession and why looking after HR is not just the right thing to do, but a business imperative.
