Sage has launched new technology to help HR leaders build more resilient and data-driven global workforces.

The new Workforce Intelligence analytics engine has been designed to provide predictive insights and real-time analytics, and can be accessed via Sage People. With this data, the provider said HR teams can gain deeper visibility into workforce trends, anticipate challenges and make more strategic decisions.

The launch comes as research from Gartner shows that only 15 percent of organisations engage in strategic workforce planning, despite significant labour market shifts.

In addition to its AI-driven analytics engine, Sage has also partnered with Uptime, a mobile-first microlearning and wellbeing platform, to help employers close skills gaps with curated, bite-sized learning.

Recent research from IDC identified reskilling as one of the top three HR challenges, while only 13 percent of employees say they feel well supported in their professional development.

Jamie True, CEO of Uptime, said: “We believe the future of work depends on making knowledge as accessible and engaging as the apps people love in their daily lives.”

Jonathan Cowan, EVP, HCM, platform strategy and operations at Sage, added: “We’re giving our customers the insight, agility and support they need to build resilient, high-performing teams and deliver impact across their organisations.”
