A new interactive, gamified financial wellbeing platform called ‘money&me’ has been launched by specialist provider Wealth at Work.

Employees can use the platform to build their financial knowledge through gamified learning, which is personal to them.

The platform covers money management, tax, savings and investments, financial health, pensions and life after work. It was built by digital communication specialist Landscape, which is part of the Wealth at Work group.

‘One stop shop’

The provider emphasised the link between debt, money worries and stress, lower productivity and absenteeism, adding that employers are increasingly recognising the issue and want new ways to support their employees.

Jonathan Watts Lay, director of Wealth at Work, said: “We already deliver financial wellbeing and retirement services to millions of employees and pension scheme members and are excited to launch our latest digital offering ‘money&me’ in our venture to provide a one stop shop for all financial wellbeing requirements.”

He continued: “Helping employees build their financial resilience and providing them with the knowledge and tools to do so, has never been more important.

“Money&me will help achieve this by providing essential content that creates good financial behaviours, whilst also signposting next steps to enable employees to gain further support to take the appropriate action to gain control of their finances.”

Ryan Sales, creative and delivery director at Landscape, added: “We are delighted to have helped develop a new digital proposition that supports Wealth at Work’s successful financial education programme.

“It has been under development for a while and we’re looking forward to helping employers engage their workforce with an online solution that not only looks great, but is enjoyable to use and rewards repeat visits, helping to solve a genuine challenge for the workplace.”

byBenefits Expert from Definite Article Media

As the professionals responsible for helping their organisations navigate NI hikes, rising employee stress levels and looming redundancies, the pressure on HR, reward and benefits teams has never been greater.

HR is expected to lead with strength and compassion. But who is supporting the supporters?

In this episode of Benefits Unboxed, co-hosts Claire Churchard, Carole Goldsmith and Steve Herbert explore the emotional and ethical pressures HR face today, from managing redundancies to implementing complex legislation. They discuss why HR’s own wellbeing may not be the first topic of conversation, the risks that poses to employers, and the practical steps businesses can take to better support the wellbeing of the people who support everyone else.

This conversation shines a light on the resilience of the profession and why looking after HR is not just the right thing to do, but a business imperative.
